Food was really good. Better than I had thought it was going to be. It's BYOB, but since it was a Sunday night we just had soda. They serve flatbread and two dipping sauces to each table, careful the red one is hot if you sent anticipating it, but they are both really good.

I had a chicken gyro and it was great. On of the best I have had in a while. The house rice was also very good, my plate was clean. :)

Totally recommend for someone looking for something a little different in the upper moreland/horsham area.

We will be back for dinner with some wine, and to try the kabobs

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and I finally did, and I was astonished by the quality of the food.

I had a chicken soup that was among the best soups I've ever had: it had a rich, flavorful curry broth, light and refreshing, and with just the right amount of spiciness.  The soup was filled with a diversity of vegetables and seemed perfectly balanced.

I also ordered a vegetarian dish which included beans, rice, tomatos, and many other vegetables.  It's hard to describe exactly what it was like because it was rather different from anything I had ever had before, but it was absolutely exquisite: rather mellow and yet very rich in flavor, warming and comforting.

My friend ordered a sandwich, which was simpler than what I ordered, but still very good!

The atmosphere here is interesting...tapestries under the glass tabletops, somewhat minimal but interesting decor that really seems to fit with the food.  Very reasonable prices too!  The only downside is the extremely awkward-to-enter-and-exit parking lot.

I will say that I started thinking about coming back here the minute I took the first bite of food.  I also felt very good after eating here: the food was nourishing but had a satisfying lightness to it relative to how rich and spicy it was: it gave me a satisfied full feeling while also feeling energized, refreshed, and ready for life.

Yalda is the best option for Middle Eastern food in the area. I have had several items off the menu and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly, especially the owner.

As a bonus, you can indulge in a hookah after your meal.

You can also enjoy the latest in Afghan pop videos if you show up at the right time.
